About The Artist and The Space
To me art is tactile. Using thick paints, painting outside, and picking up things off the ground gives art character. Photos involve moving things around, arranging, munipulating. Mixing natural and man made materials allows me to create quirky creatures. Provocative art, interesting from a distance, but now look closely, question. "What is that?""How was than done, with what?"ASU is where I studied Sculpture & Preformance Art, so I like when art tells a story." What are they like?" "Why is that there?"
The Orange Cat Studio is on an alley, behind Rancho Du Spamo Garden in downtown Glenwood Springs, CO. Where the cats, bears and other wild animals hang out. Where my main muse, Bucky the Orange Cat, hunts for people.
